Is it possible that I can find a "secret" of the program on a laptop, HP?
I ran virus, spyware and programs diversion, and nothing is found. There are no recent programs that I can find who downloaded, and I'm at a loss. It is the computer my son and he is blind and very dependent on her for help comunicate, so it is missing without it. All I can say for sure is that the Task Manager indicates that the CPU uses 100% with only the basic process and not running applications. Everything else including a screen reader, is so slow as to be unworkable.
Reboot. Then go to Start, Run, type msconfig in, hit return. Go to the Startup tab on the right. You can google anything on the list, but several, you must uncheck be preloaded RAM when your computer boots up as is Quicktime qttask. iTunes. Real player. several applications such as MS Office to extend the startup time too. See if the shoes anything until you do not recognize. Go to download.com and download Spybot, Ad-aware, avg, ccleaner, spyware blaster, spyware doctor too & run 'Em all.
