Would you buy rimless glasses?
I appeal to new glasses on Monday and I'm reviewing a pair of "Sarah Palin-esque "rimless glasses. I have a prescription abuse, even when I buy light glasses. I thought I would like the look and feel. The problem is that I hear these frameworks are not stable at all. I wear my glasses when I get up to go to the bathroom at night. I can not have a heavy frame, but I can not have something falling down, either! Incidentally, I have an astigmatism and round this appointment, I Perhaps to get bifocals too. Honestly, if you ask an optician, they will tell you they hate drill mount frames! For many reasons: they may sometimes make you look older than you really are, they are extremely delicate, you'll end up having more frequent adjustments because they do not hold not align very well, etc. .. Keep in mind that unless it is built, the more delicate your glasses are. The only thing to mount them together are the holes, and with any type of pressure or a lot of wear, they will break. In addition, depending on your Rx, they may not be able to what type of glasses for you. Sometimes there are a limited number Rx that can be assembled into drilling rises. If your correction is high (which I suppose is) your lens is much thicker because there is no framework to hide the edges. You may not like how they look when their finish. In all honesty, they are not practical at all. If you want glasses that are less visible, then maybe go with a semi-rimless instead. They are a little tricky robust, but a lot of drilling is rising. If you still opt for an exercise in editing, you have your lens edges polished. This will make the thickness edge less visible. And you're not wearing always keep them in your case.
