best fake oakley frogskins store?
i was wondering if anyone knew of a place to buy decent replica oakley frogskins. they are possibly the best sunglasses i have ever seen and it is pretty vital i get a pair. too many ray bans around which is why i guess oakley only released 3000 of these bad boys, so not every fool would be wearing them, which contradicts me wanting to get them but i do not really care.
any good websites? i can only find crap replicas and ebay stores (which im pretty sure would be mostly fakes anyway). need help! thanks!
The general design/shape is pretty common, primarily due to the Ray-Ban Wayfarers from back when (and of course the original mid-80's Frogskins themselves). Looks like the Wayfarer design came out in 1952, so similar things in that shape have been coming out for a long time now.
You can find lots of non-Oakley things out there that would look pretty similar--probably even at your average mall kiosk--but I don't know how readily you'll find something flagrantly trying to knock off the Oakleys directly. Of course some frame / lens combos are more likely to turn up than others. If you really want the Frogskins themselves, your best bet is to find what's still out there now or hunt down some of the originals.
At the worst, you can find similar things by just searching for "Oakley frogskin" (or wayfarer) at places like Amazon.
