Where can I get cheap replacement lenses for my Oakley Frogskins?
Recently I severely scratched my lenses on my newly purchased frogskins. I cant send my glasses into Oakley because the serial number is completely unreadable. I have found some Visionary lenses on eBay but I would rather not pay 85 or so dollars to replace the lenses.
Can anyone direct me to a place where i can buy new lenses for a cheaper?
Why can't you send your glasses into Oakley? Are they fake? If they're fake, VL lenses or anyone else's won't work anyway as they're based off of real lenses.
Your best bet is to send them in. If you know these glasses are real, the folks at Oakley will know they're real when they have them.
Call the 800 number to set up the repair order. Let them know that the MODEL NUMBERs have worn off (as far as I can remember, there are NO SERIALS on regular Frogskins). And they will still replace the lenses for you. Probably going to be a little less than the VL lenses you're looking at.
Don't cheap out on the lenses. Oakley's big thing is their lens clarity and the 100% UV protection across the board, not just UVA and UVB. Put anything else in there, and you risk doing some SERIOUS long term damage to your eyes.
