I live in AZ and it is so sad these guys in their choppers (I can't tell you what channels, they are copyrighted) taping a cop chase and they crashed into eachother and all 4 men died. :'(
i too live in az and have now for the past 15+ years (i was born here but moved around alot)
i can say that i watched one of the channels involved for several years since childhood and the pilot was an awesome guy!!
it has been reported that the daughter of one of the pilot's had just buried her 5 year daughter days before this tragedy and now has to bury her father too. I can't even imagine what she is going through (or the rest of the families for that matter).
my heart goes out to all the families,friends,and coworkers of the 4 men.
as for the jerk-off that was being chased-i honestly feel he should be charged for this. he put several lives in danger on the ground by ramming vehicles and speeding through the streets of phoenix. the laws we have here do say that if there is a death that occurs as a result of the crime you are committing, you can be held liable. this holds up in this case-these choppers wouldn't have been there if the idiot was stealing a truck!!
these men gave their lives doing what they loved and did best and it's a miracle that nobody on the ground was hurt or killed-the pilots of both choppers might have had something to do w/that and we should recognize them as heroes for giving their lives.
