This is where I can do something about my camera?
I bought a Nikon Coolpix about 8 months ago on the first week I have received, the target jammed. So I took it to future shop and they gave me a brand new, soon receipt, I bought a warranty in case. About 3 months later, stuck again. I went to Future Shop for repair. 2 months later they tell me they can not do anything because they do not cover physical damage. I have done nothing for the camera, but the start. They tell me to pay $ 100 if I want it fixed. I returned three months later only to have them tell me they can not find it. Is what I can do? Maybe a lawsuit? My graduates to come and I really need a camera. What am I supposed to do? My grad is coming and I do not want lose another $ 300 on another device. Can I take legal action?
What was the physical damage they claimed? My own thoughts are that there is a problem if you have the same problem with 2 different cameras identical. That said, if you left it for repairs, they surely given a receipt on that point and are now responsible because they can not find it. Tell them you want, or your camera, repair or replacement. If the manager is not willing to do, ask if you can borrow his phone to call the better Business Bureau.
