Can you spray paint a football helmet facemask?
I just got a new football helmet. The facemask color was red. I was wondering if you can spray paint it a different color. Will it still be as protective or will it break easily or is it just unsafe.
It is safe. Don't tell people you did it and take your time.
The steel frame is not going to be any stronger or weaker based on a paint coat.
