can you help me with some party ideas?
I am throwing s halloween party and the theme is the seven deadly sins. Lust, envy, wrath, sloth, gluttony, pride, and greed. I'm having it outside in my yard and I was going to have a bonfire. Can you help me think of some activities that relate to each sin. Decoration wise I was thinking of a table full of all sweets and junk food for gluttony. A greenish punch with eyeballs in it representing the green eyes monster (envy), Pillows and blankets on some of the chairs for sloth. Satin, lace, and feather boas for lust. fake money and gold chocolate coins and poker for greed. Scary decorations like tombstones and gorey monsters for wrath. But I need some ideas for pride.
Well for pride I think of fake beauty pageants. This means bright colors, fake jewels and lots of makeup. If it's going to be an all girl party you could have a mock do-over and just attack each other with make-up, heck you could even do that with the guys as a joke. But in all seriousness, you could get some neon colored chairs and basically bedazzle the crap out of any and everything you see. Aka tables, chairs, plates, bowls, etc etc.
That's just what I think, you could even have a mirror table. That would be pretty cool.
