Electric Aux

where do I plug the microphone? amp question.?

I bought a micro cube by Roland. It has the input for the electric guitar and two others (aux in and phones). where do I plug the microphone? do I plug it in the aux in? or do i need to buy another guitar amplifier. HELP

I think the AUX IN is probably put there for backing tracks, and therefore will be a stereo input and not ideally suited to a mono MIC - it does not appear to have a volume control for the AUX IN either, so you may ideally need to think about having another one for vocals... Having said that, you probably would get some sort of sound out of it if you plugged a mic into the AUX IN as the mono plug would still work in the stereo input - but it's not what it was designed for... Whether you would get sufficient gain from a stereo mic is debatable unless you ran it through a pre-amp first, but a stereo mic is not ideal for what you are trying to do...
