Help for Oakley sunglasses?
Hey guys, I wanted to have a pair of Oakley for a while now, and I mucking been customized with the creator. http://au.oakley.com/custom/scalpel (I thought this model in white chrome, everything else is default) I decided on the chrome white as main color, which narrows down a little while, I need help with things like I should get polarized lenses or not ... What are the benefits? because it does not add much to the price. * Thank you for your help guys (I thought this model in white chrome, while the rest is default) * sorry for not failing, I want to know about lenses, I thought the blue symbol Oakley, and probably the "ear socks" gray / slate
Pesonally, I prefer polarized lenses, but they are better suited to my needs. The question you have to ask yourself is: whether or not you spend a lot of time on the water, on concrete pavements (professional driver) or a ball field (professional athlete)? If not, while polarized lenses can not be a "must" for you. Polarization refers to filter light into the lens that filters the glare that emerges from the horizontal surfaces, like the surface of a lake (ocean), road surfaces or ball fields. Long exposure to glare increases eyestrain. Oakley polarized lenses have a filter built into the lens. Lenses competitor to use the sandwich method, where the two halves of a thin lens are bonded to a polarizing filter is placed between them. This leads to optical distortion. Oakley lenses are optically much more accurate because it is a lens together. Keep in mind, the polarization of the blocks not GLARE reflection. So you will always see the sun reflecting off the water, but the white "fog" that often comes with it will not be there. Ice Iridium would be better with the combo of colors you offer. However, if you need a polarized lens, Black Iridium Polarized is the "matching" lens. However, on all polarized lenses available for the scalpel, Iridium Polarized Bronze is my favorite. Several of my friends swear by the VR28 Black Iridium Polarized since you can also wear the target slightly lower in light (cloudy) conditions. Good thing is, however, you can exchange the lenses in and out of easily scalpel. So you can get more swap depending on conditions. HTH D
